My Swimming Team Story

  

I've been a member of a swimming team since November 2017. We're a great team, close to one another, and competitive, but it doesn't imply we're unsupportive or self-centered—rather, we're a family. I've taken part in six competitions this year, and I'm actually qualified to compete in the "Juegos de la Araucanía 2018" between Argentina and Chile. I was on another team for two years until I had to quit due to a shoulder lesion that prevented me from swimming for around eight months. After I recovered, I made the decision to join this new club with trainer Diana.

I attend a math academy for gifted pupils, which supports us in math competitions. Felipe Retamal is our teacher, and there are five of us in the class. In addition to improving my ability to think quickly, I've been studying how to solve extremely difficult tasks or obstacles. We're all motivated to improve, and the setting is conducive to learning and focus.

He sido parte de CocochiConsciente desde marzo de este año. Cocochi Consciente is a self-governing group created by students from my school aiming for a thoughtful and analytical perspective on the issues facing our country and our school. In this group, we discuss social issues such as: racism, gender discrimination, homelessness, poverty, inadequate education, etc. We engage in demonstrations to promote change, and we also aim to raise awareness among fellow students through talks and flyers.

 

In March of this year, I joined a Pre-university class to enhance my language skills and prepare for next year's "PSU." They provide us with guides that the teacher clarifies, and afterward, we independently complete the activities at the end of the guide. It's closer to a personal task.

 

 

I wish to join this program because experiencing another country and its culture will broaden my perspective, allowing me to adopt its best concepts and share them in my own country. Through this type of experience, I aim to grasp the vastness of the world, recognize the numerous values it holds, and incorporate them into my identity. I wish to take part in this program because I believe it will make me a more well-rounded individual, a person of integrity for my community, someone who will contribute to its improvement by sharing the experiences I will gain

An effective leader is someone who understands how to listen and take action, timing each response appropriately. An effective leader understands that each team member is crucial and irreplaceable, with every individual enhancing the team. An effective leader understands the skills of the team members, involves them in the process, and guides the group without issuing commands. That’s what contributes to my effectiveness as a leader. In school, I understand how to collaborate with each classmate, and they know how to collaborate with me; we function as a team, as a fantastic team.

 

They are aware they can rely on me, and I am aware I can rely on them. At home, I’m the oldest of four siblings. During the summer, while my mom worked, my brothers and I stayed home. I assigned household tasks; for instance, Felipe (15) washed the dishes, Marco (15) assisted me with cooking, and Esteban (11) set and cleared the table. I also helped my younger brothers when they needed it. That summer, our bond strengthened, everyone did well, and we all helped mom with the house

One of my aspirations is to learn and teach, sharing the knowledge I gain with others.

nationality that will enable me to cultivate a complete and comprehensive capacity to adapt to any setting, a

Additionally, from my own experience, I understand that the demeanor of the leader, educator, or speaker is a crucial factor in how a message is perceived is the speaker's proximity and openness. creates an inviting atmosphere for the theme, enhancing your curiosity for learning and

 

inquiry. The initiative aims to foster leadership abilities, and later on as a researcher I will conduct investigations and manage projects, thus the skills I aim to refine will be crucial for and effective collaboration with my upcoming team, and it will be vital to achieve excellent progress in science that I wish everyone will utilize. Therefore, the program will bring me nearer to the world, to the community and its progress since its core concept is to encourage leadership and communication skills, essential competencies for the tasks I’m currently engaged in and those I aspire to pursue.
